We sadly lost Squirt in November to
a paralysis tick. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts during our difficult
time.
Chestnut colt with characteristics.
Super inquisitive, bold colt, with superb temperament.
Squirt will make the ideal performance all-rounder. His dam, Magic Sun Dancer,
has awards for both dressage and showjumping, with
points in most performance disciplines, as well as in the halter ring. His
sire, Bar Vee Mytee
Spectacular, is a show ring champion, and consistently sires progeny with
athleticism, movement and trainability, combined with excellent temperament,
all of which Squirt shows even at his young age. Squirt’s siblings include the
multi-champion filly Yallawa Mytee
Dust Storm. He is one of the few remaining horses to carry the famous
foundation “Sundance” line, and his sire line is studded with champions.
We
are currently anxiously awaiting Squirt’s foal coat to shed – so we can see
what his true colour will be. As his dam roaned out, there is a big possibility he will do the same,
and develop Appaloosa colour over the next few years.
He also has a dorsal stripe, and as his sire carries dun factor, he may in fact
be a dun. Only time will tell!
We
have been waiting for Squirt for over a decade, and he is well worth it!
