SOLD "On the Level"

1990 Grey TB gelding, 16.2hh. 

He has been a vaulting horse for 10 years, and has been to many competitions including Nationals at walk and canter. He is a sweet old man, can be handled by kids of all sizes, and he just adores them. Riding-wise, I have taken him to Novice dressage, he does jump quite well, I've done up to 90cm but too woosy to do more. Loves to hunt or XC, but unfortunately he does get strong so needs a strong rider. Not necessarily experienced, just able to employ brakes WELL. I have taught beginners on him on the lunge, which he likes, and a little bit unaided but he isn't a fan of that. He simply adores trail-riding with ANY rider. Happy with guys or girls.

He is not a typical TB in that he is a good doer usually. His feet are reasonable, he is barefoot and has been for about 4 years with no probs. He has been sound since I bought him in 2000, no issues that I know of. I think he would be happiest in a home with kids, or a weekend trail rider, or even as a school horse again if he got individual attention. He could quite easily be a first vaulting horse if someone wanted to start it up.
